How does the program work?

The donor charges funds to the card for the amount they choose.  The card is then presented to the cashier for purchase

for food, medicine or fuel.  Whenever, the amount reaches $5000 total spent at Kroger (from all donors) Kroger issues a

check for 4% of the total or $200
